Stacy began practicing yoga in 2000 when she realized how distinctively different yoga was from fitness training. Ever since then, she has been practicing yoga continuously and valued every opportunity of learning. To her yoga does not only train coordination of the physical body, but also allows us to build a relationship with our inner space and spirituality.
In 2006 Stacy completed a 200hr teacher training in Hong Kong at YogaWorks. Same year in December, she assisted in Kim Haegele’s teacher training in Taiwan. In 2007 she underwent YogaWorks instructor training in Los Angeles and became a certified YogaWorks instructor in Taiwan. After that she spent a few years assisting Kim Haegele and James Brown in their teacher training programs in Taiwan and Hong Kong. It was in the comprehensive training system of YogaWorks that she established solid foundation of yoga and was able to keep growing. Later on she also studied with world-famous yoga teachers like Paul Dallaghan, Richard Freeman, David Swenson, John Friend, Desiree Rumbaug, Patrick Creelman, and Chris Arcucci, to get in touch with a variety of knowledge by taking part in different styles of workshops.
Believing that yoga is both multi-faceted and encompassing, Stacy wants to help students optimize their learning with various perspectives from different yoga methods. She hopes that through every class she teaches, she can help students face everything about their own bodies, and begin to make the transition into making asana practice an inner exploration, throughout which one would learn to observe inward, to become self-aware and be grateful to all grace.
